Day 01: BIA – Sinharaja
At arrival Bandaranaike International Airport you will be received by our representative, who will transfer you to Sinharaja through the sleepy villages and green blankets of paddy fields and rubber estates. An ideal beginning to an adventurous journey in Sri Lanka. At arrival check in to the hotel. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Bird Watching at Sinharaja
Sinharaja, Sri Lanka’s last viable primary tropical rainforest with a vast collection of endemic vegetation, wildlife, especially birds and amphibians. Sinharaja is renowned for the Sinharaja bird wave where birds of different species fly in unison. Enjoy both a morning and evening bird watching in Sinharaja. Have dinner and night stay.
Day 03: Sinharaja- Galle – Mirissa
Today post breakfast visit the famed Dutch Galle Fort. Spanning nearly 90 acres the Fort consist of colonial-styled churches, houses, and hotels preserved in reminiscence of an era when the country was in the power of Dutch. Then proceed to Mirissa, check-in at the hotel. Have dinner and night stay.
Day 04: Dolphin and Whale Watching in Mirissa.
After breakfast proceed to explore Dolphin and Whale Watching in Mirissa. Mirissa itself is a quiet and peaceful coastal town boasting unspoiled beaches. Blue whales, Bryde´s whales, Sperm whales, Fin whales, bottlenose dolphins, common dolphins, and spinner dolphins grace the waters of Southern Seas of Sri Lanka from Weligama to Mirrissa and can be found within just eight to ten nautical miles from Mirissa harbor. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Mirissa- Yala
After breakfast day free, as the dusk spreads around the trees of Yala set on an evening Safari in Yala in pursuit of the elusive leopards and elephants. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Yala – Udawalawe
See Yala in its full glory basking in the morning sunlight. Post breakfast head to Udawala, another sanctuary famed for elephants in the afternoon following the lunch. Spend the night at a luxury camp in the midst of Udawalawe sanctuary.
Day 07: Camping at Udawalawe
Post breakfast day at Elephant Safari and Visit to Elephant Transit Home. Tour the Udawalawe Wildlife Sanctuary in search of wild elephants and drop by at the Ath Athru Sevana, elephant transit home, where orphaned elephant babies are rehabilitated for a life in the jungle. Have dinner and night stay.
Day 08: Udawalawe – Colombo
After breakfast check out you’re the camp and driven back to Colombo. Check-in at the hotel. Evening free. Have dinner and stay overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Colombo – BIA :
On the last day of your tour, post breakfast check-out of the hotel. We will drop you at Bandaranaike International Airport to take a flight for your journey ahead.
