Day 01: Guwahat Arrival – Kaziranga
After arriving at the Guwahati airport you will be received by our representative who will escort you towards Kaziranga National Park. After arriving at your destination check in to the hotel. In the evening you’re free to relax at the resort. Have your dinner and rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 02: Kaziranga National Park
In the morning go for an Elephant Safari in the national Park. The sanctuary, which hosts two-thirds of the world’s great one-horned rhinoceroses, is a World Heritage Site. Kaziranga is also home to the highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world, and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer. Kaziranga is recognized as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International for conservation of avifaunal species.
After the morning safari, have your breakfast at the resort. Then enjoy a free day till lunch. After lunch go for another jeep safari in the national Park. In the evening enjoy Tea/ Coffee at the Resort. Have dinner and rest for the night.
Day 03: Kaziranga National Park
On day three go for an Elephant Safari early in the morning, then come back to Resort for breakfast. Relax till Lunch. After lunch go for another jeep safari in the national Park. In the Evening you can visit local village area to explore their culture and lifestyle. Have your dinner and rest for the night.
Day 04: Kaziranga – Shillong
After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Shillong. Shillong is a beautiful hill station of northeast India. It’s known for its manicured gardens at Lady Hydari Park. Nearby, Ward’s Lake is surrounded by walking trails. The Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures features displays on the region’s native people. Waterfalls include the Elephant Falls to the southwest. East of here, forested Shillong Peak offers city views. After arriving in Shillong check in to the hotel and go for local sightseeing. Have dinner and rest for the night.
Day 05: Shillong
After breakfast proceed for a day trip to Cherrapunji. Cherrapunji holds two Guinness world records for receiving the maximum amount of rainfall in a single year. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Arwah Cave, Eco Park, David Scott Memorial Stone. Then back to your hotel. Have dinner and rest for the night.
Day 06: Shillong- Guwahati (Depart)
Post breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Guwahati. We will drop you at the airport to take your flight for your onward journey.
