Day 01: Bagdogra Airport -Kalimpong
After arriving at the Bagdogra airport meet our representative, who will escort you to Kalimpong. Kalimpong is a beautiful hill station of the Indian state, West Bengal, known for its educational institutions, many of which were established during the British colonial period. It used to be a gateway in the trade between Tibet and India before China’s annexation of Tibet and the Sino-Indian War.
Day 02: Kalimpong – Gangtok
Post breakfast, embark on a tour of Kalimpong, covering – Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr Graham’s Home, Durpin Dara Monastery & Viewpoint, Cactus / Orchid Nursery. Return to hotel. Post lunch, proceed towards Gangtok- “The Capital of Sikkim”. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Gangtok – Sightseeing
Post breakfast, embark on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13200 ft). Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Gangtok – Lachung
Post breakfast around 9.00 a.m. travel to Lachung (8610 ft). Lachung is a mountain village close to the Tibetan border, in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim. It’s divided by the Lachung River. The village is home to the 19th-century Buddhist Lachung Monastery, surrounded by apple orchards. Nearby, the Yumthang Valley’s Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary protects many species of rhododendron. The valley is also known for its waterfalls, pine forests and hot springs. On your way visit Singhik View point, Seven Sister Waterfalls, Naga Water Falls. Have lunch on the way. Check-in to your hotel. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Lachung – Yumthang – Lachung
After breakfast embark on an excursion to Yumthang-Valley (known as Valley of Flowers) and back. On your way back dip into a Hot Spring. You can spend your afternoon interacting with the local people or you can visit the local market. Spend the night in Lachung.
Day 06: Lachung – Gangtok
After breakfast return to Gangtok. En-route you will get to see Bheema & Twin Falls. Check-in to your hotel after reaching your destination. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Gangtok – Pelling
After breakfast, proceed towards Pelling (6200 ft.). Check-in to your hotel after arriving in Pelling. In the afternoon go on a sightseeing tour to Rimbi Water Falls, Rock Garden, Khachoedpalri Lake. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Pelling – Darjeeling (7100 ft.)
After breakfast go on a local tour. Visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, Helipad Ground. Return to the hotel from where you will be escorted to Darjeeling. ‘The Queen of the Hills’. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Rest of the day free or can be spent at the Mall (Chowrastha). Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 09: Darjeeling – Sightseeing
Early in the Morning (at 04:00 am) visit Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds third highest peak), on your way back you will get to see Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling, covering – Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Peace Pagoda. You can spend your evening at the Mall (Chowrastha) or you can relax. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Darjeeling – Bagdogra Airport
Post breakfast check-out of the hotel and proceed to the Bagdogra Airport. To board your flight back home.
