Day 01, Arrival at Delhi:
Welcome to the 8 Nights 9 Days Rajasthan Desert Trail tour. Rajasthan-‘the Land of Maharajas,’ known for its majestic palaces, forts, monuments and famous Deserts. You will be welcomed and escorted to your pre-booked hotel by our representative on your arrival at the Delhi Airport. You must be tired so, after check in at the hotel take some rest and freshen up. Later in the evening you can visit Red fort to enjoy the Light and sound show. The Red fort was the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 02, Delhi – Mandawa:
Post breakfast, proceed to your next destination- Mandawa. The city is famous for fascinating havelis, decorated with beautiful wall paintings. Upon arrival in Mandawa, check-in to the hotel. Later visit the 150 to 200 year old painted havelis (big houses) by natural colors in the streets of the village, explore the famous Havelis like Binsidhar Newatia Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Jhunjhunwala Haveli.
You’re free to relax in the evening. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.
Day 03, Mandawa- Bikaner:
After breakfast, you will be escorted to Bikaner. On the way to Bikaner, visit 600 years old Deshnoke Rat temple and then continue your drive towards Bikaner. Upon arrival in Bikaner, check-in to your pre-booked hotel.
Later visit Junagarh Fort, built way back in 1593 by Raja Rai Singh. Also, visit Lalgah palace and other attractions of Bikaner. In the evening, visit Asia’s largest Camel Breeding Research Farm. After dinner, overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 04, Bikaner – Jaisalmer:
After breakfast you will be escorted to Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center and princely state in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the “Golden city” it’s distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort, a sprawling hilltop citadel buttressed by 99 bastions.
After you arrive in Jaisalmer, check-in at the hotel and take rest. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05, Jaisalmer:
After breakfast you will leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer, visit Jaisalmer Fort (80 meters above plains) & Jain Temples within the Fort built in 12th to 15th century. Visit Fort Palace & from top of the Palace you can have the golden view of whole Jaisalmer city, visit Patwon Ki Haveli, Nath Ji Mal Ki Haveli, Salim Ji Ki Haveli and then visit Bada Bagh.
In the evening drive to Sam or Khuri Sand dunes to watch sensational Sun Set by camel ride. Enjoy your dinner with Rajasthani Folk Dance- Music, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06, Jaisalmer – Jodhpur:
On the sixth day, after breakfast check out of the hotel at Jaisalmer and proceed to Jodhpur, known as the blue city. Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert, of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted the city’s iconic shade of blue. After arriving in Jodhpur check in to the hotel, visit Mehrangarh Fort, Mehrangarh fort is one of the largest forts in India. Built around 1460 by Rao Jodha, the fort is situated 410 feet above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls, then visit Umaid Bhawan Palace & Jaswant Thada. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 07, Jodhpur- Jaipur:
After breakfast you will proceed to Jaipur – the Pink city. Known for royalty and great tradition, Jaipur is the capital of the Rajasthan state of India. On the way to Jaipur, you will visit Pushkar Brahma temple and Pushkar lake. Upon arrival, check-in at the pre-booked hotel.
After arriving in Jaipur check in to the hotel. You’re free to relax in the evening. Have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 08, Jaipur sightseeing:
On day eight, you will explore the local sights of Jaipur. After breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride and then visit Jaigarh Fort.
After lunch explore other attractions of the city, like the famous City Palace – a palace complex in Jaipur, visit Albert hall & Museum, Hawa Mahal – a palace in Jaipur, India, named so because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside, then visit Jantar Mantar and in the evening visit Jal Mahal. Have dinner, after dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 09, Jaipur – Delhi (departure):
Here comes to an end of your 8 Nights 9 Days Rajasthan Desert Trail tour. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi. You will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for your next destination.
