Day 01: Bagdogra Airport  – Gangtok

Welcome to 4 Nights 5 Days Gangtok –Darjeeling tour, After arriving at the Bagdogra airport meet our representative, who will escort you to Gangtok “The Capital of Sikkim”. Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Gangtok – Sightseeing

Post breakfast, embark on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13200 ft). Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Gangtok – Lachung

Post breakfast around 9.00 a.m. travel to Lachung (8610 ft). Lachung is a mountain village close to the Tibetan border, in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim. It’s divided by the Lachung River. The village is home to the 19th-century Buddhist Lachung Monastery, surrounded by apple orchards. Nearby, the Yumthang Valley’s Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary protects many species of rhododendron. The valley is also known for its waterfalls, pine forests and hot springs. On your way visit Singhik View point, Seven Sister Waterfalls, Naga Water Falls. Have lunch on the way. Check-in to your hotel. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Lachung – Yumthang

The Yumthang Valley or Sikkim Valley of Flowers sanctuary, is a nature sanctuary with a river, hot springs, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows surrounded by the Himalayan mountains in the North Sikkim district of Sikkim state in India. After breakfast embark on an excursion to Yumthang-Valley (known as Valley of Flowers) and back. On your way dip into a Hot Spring. You can spend your afternoon interacting with the local people or by visiting the local market. Spend your night in Lachung.

Day 05: Lachung – Lachen

Lachen is a town in North Sikkim district in the Indian state of Sikkim. It is located at an elevation of 2,750 metres. The name Lachen means “big pass”. The town is being promoted as a tourist destination by the Sikkimese government. After breakfast take the transfer to Lachen. Rest of the day free or at own to explore Lachen. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Lachen – Sightseeing

Post breakfast we embark on an excursion to Thangu, Gurudongmar Lake (17200 ft) & Chopta Valley. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Lachen – Gangtok

After breakfast return to Gangtok. En route see  Bheema & Twin Falls. Check-in to your hotel after reaching your destination. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Gangtok – Bagdogra Airport

Post breakfast check-out of the hotel and proceed toward the Bagdogra Airport. Take a flight towards your journey ahead.
