Day 01: Srinagar – Arrival
Welcome you to 7 Nights/ 8 days Kashmir with Vaishno Devi tour, your tour will start from Srinagar Airport. After arriving at the Srinagar airport our representative will welcome you and assist you to the deluxe houseboat. Freshen up and enjoy a shikara ride on Dal/Nagin Lake, visit the floating shops. During the Shikara ride enjoy the opportunities for bird watching . Birds like Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc. Have dinner and night stay at houseboat.
Day 02: Srinagar: local sightseeing
After breakfast go for a local tour of the city. Visit Mughal Gardens like NishatBagh built by Asaf Khan in 1632 AD, the brother -in- law of Jehangir, then visit Shalimar Bagh which was built by Jehangir for his wife NurJahan. Both the gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. Spend your evening relaxing, after dinner stay overnight in houseboat.
Day 03: Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar
After breakfast proceed for day trip to Gulmarg, Gulmarg the Meadow of Flowers , 2730 mts. above sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, known as the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feets which dominates the entire region, also you can enjoy cable car (Gondola) up to khilangmarg. In the evening drive back to Srinagar. After having a delicious dinner stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Srinagar- Sonmarg- Sringagar
On the fourth day of your 7 Nights/ 8 days Kashmir with Vaishno Devi tour, After breakfast proceed to Sonmarg, the Meadow of Gold lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Enjoy the beautiful view of the valley. Sonmarg is also ideal place for treks. In the evening drive back to Srinagar. Have dinner and stay overnight at the houseboat.
Day 05: Srinagar-Pahalgam
After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed for Pahalgam. En-route, visit the saffron fields of pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by the King Awantivarman), and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Drive through the pine forests. Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy Lidder stream. Later, walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Pahalgam -Katra
