Day 01 – Arrive Delhi

We at Delight India Leisure Holidays welcome you to your 7 Nights/8 Days Golden Triangle with Shimla tour. After arriving at the Delhi Airport you will be received by our representative, who will take you to your pre-booked hotel.

You must be tired so, after check-in at the hotel take some rest and get refreshed. Later in the evening you can visit Red fort to enjoy the Light and sound show. Red fort was the residence of  Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 02 – Delhi

On the second day of your tour, after breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of India’s capital territory, visit Qutab Minar the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb – tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, after lunch visit The President House, India Gate, National Museum, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Raj Ghat, Chandni chowk market. We will treat you to a dinner in a famous restaurant of the city. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 03 – Delhi – Agra

Today after breakfast proceed to Agra – the city of marbles.

After arrival, check in at the Agra hotel . Freshen up and take some rest, after lunch visit the 16th century Agra Fort also known as “Lal – Qila”, house to a number of exquisite buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Agra fort, Shah Jahan spent his last days imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. After Agra Fort you will visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, is also an architectural marvel. People also refer it as Baby Taj Mahal because it has Minars(towers) similar to that of Taj Mahal. In the evening you will visit the Taj Mahal, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river of Agra city, a UNESCO World Heritage site was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz, that is why it is known as a symbol of love. The beautiful monument looks even more gratifying at Sunset. Have dinner in a famous Mughal restaurant of the city. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 04 – Agra – Jaipur

Today again you can visit the beautiful Taj Mahal at Sunrise to experience the stunning sunrise view of the monument. After breakfast you will then proceed to Jaipur – the Pink city, en route you will visit Fatehpur sikiri – a city founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. After reaching your destination, check in at the Jaipur hotel. Then visit few attractions of the city, like the famous City Palace – a palace complex in Jaipur, visit Albert hall & Museum, Hawa Mahal – a palace in Jaipur, India, named so because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside. Visit Jantar Mantar and Jal Mahal in the evening. In the evening you can explore local markets. Have dinner, after dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 05 – Jaipur – Delhi

On the fifth day of your 7 Nights/8 Days Golden Triangle with Shimla tour, after breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride, then visit Jaigarh fort, explore the local markets and you can buy handicrafts. After lunch our driver will take back to Delhi, check in at hotel and take rest. Have dinner, after dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 06 – Delhi – Shimla

On day six, after breakfast at hotel you will proceed to Shimla, have your lunch on the way in a road side restaurant. After arriving in Shimla, check in to the hotel. In the evening you’re free to relax and have some alone time, to appreciate the beautiful hill station. Have dinner, after dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 07 – Shimla

On the seventh day of your Golden Triangle with Shimla tour, after breakfast at hotel you will proceed to explore Shimla. Once the summer capital of British India. Visit The Rashtrapati Niwas, also known as Viceregal Lodge. It was formerly the residence of the British Viceroy of India. Then visit Christ Church, The Mall & the ride. After lunch visit Jakho temple and Kufri. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 08 – Shimla – Delhi depart

On the last day of the 7 Nights/8 Days Golden Triangle with Shimla tour, after breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Delhi. We will drop you at the Delhi airport to catch your flight for your journey ahead.
