Day 1: Arrive at Leh:
After arriving at the Leh Airport you will be received by our representative, who will escort you to your pre booked hotel. After check in at the hotel freshen up and have tea/coffee. Relax in the Evening. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Leh local sightseeing.
After breakfast proceed for a tour of Leh, where you will visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery & Stok Palace Museum. Rest overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Leh-Nubra Valley:
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for a tour of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit for overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 4: Nubra Valley-Leh
In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.
Day 5: Leh-Pangong Lake excursion-Leh
After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). Pangong Lake (alt: 14,500 ft.) is 4-5 kms wide and about 140 kms long, of which about two-third lies on the other side of the Indo-China border. After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh, reaching there around late afternoon/evening. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Leh-Alchi Likir-Leh:
After breakfast, drive to visit 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh – a UNESCO listed heritage site. While returning to Leh, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame ( Museum of military Heritage ). Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Drop to Leh Airport
On the last day of your tour, after breakfast at the hotel we will escort you to the Leh airport to board your flight towards your next destination.
