Day 01: Cochin- Arrival

We at Delight India Holiday welcome you to your 6 Nights 7 Days Kerala Ayurveda tour. After you arrive at the Cochin airport you will be WELCOMED by our representative, who will escort you to the pre booked hotel.  After reaching the destination check-in to the hotel take some rest and freshen up, later proceed for a tour of the city. Cochin is popularly known as the Queen of Arabian Sea, it also boats of one of the finest natural harbors of the world. Visit Mattancherry Palace also know as Dutch Palace, Paradesi Synagogue, Chienese Fishing Net, St. Francis CSI Church in Fort Kochi, originally built in 1503, is the oldest European church in India and has great historical significance as a mute witness to the European colonial struggle in the subcontinent, then visit Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica at Fort Kochi. Later visit Marine drive. Then, go back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 02, Kochi – Munnar

On 2nd day, after breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Munnar. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it’s surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak. After reaching your destination check in to your pre booked hotel. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.

Day 03, Munnar

On day three, proceed to explore the locals sight in and around of the beautiful hill station. You will get to visit Mattupatty Dam, Echo Point, also visit Tata Tea Plantation, Munnar Tea Museum and then visit Ervikulam National Park, a 97 km² national park located in the beautiful hill along the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala in India, in the evening go back to your hotel. Have your dinner and rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 04, Munnar –Alleppey

Post breakfast check out of your Munnar hotel and proceed to Alleppey also known as Alappuzha, a city on the Laccadive Sea in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It’s best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons. After arriving check in to your pre-booked Houseboat. Freshen up and have your lunch. Spend rest of the day enjoying the beautiful natural view of lagoons while relaxing on your houseboat. Have your dinner on the boat and rest for the night.

Day 05, Alleppey –Kumarakom

After breakfast check out of your hotel and proceed to Kumaraho. Kumarakom is a village on Vembanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala, southern India. It’s laced with canals, where houseboats ply the waters. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is home to many species including cuckoos and Siberian storks. Nearby, the Bay Island Driftwood Museum displays wooden sculptures. In the lake, Pathiramanal Island is a haven for rare migratory birds. After arriving check in to your Hotel/Resort, you can go for a Spa. You’re free to relax at your Backwater Resort in the evening. Have diner and rest for the night in your resort.

Day 06, Kumarakom (Yoga / Ayurveda)

On day six you can practice Yoga and take Ayurveda Massage at the Resort in the morning, later in the evening you can visit Kumarakom Birds sanctuary, local village. Have diner and rest for the night.

Day 07, Kumarakom- Cochin (depart):

On the last day of your tour, after breakfast check out of the hotel. Our driver will drop you at the Cochin airport to take your return flight back home.
