Day 01: Bangalore –Arrival
We Delight India Holiday welcome you at 6 Nights 7 Days Heart of South India. After you arrive at the Bangalore airport you will be received by our representative, who will escort you to the pre booked hotel. After check in the hotel get fresh and then go for a half day Bangalore City tour. Visit Tippu’s palace, Lalbaug, Vidhana Soudha, Venkatappa Art Gallery. Have dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 02: Bangalore- Mysore
On the second day, after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Mysore. After reaching Mysore check in to the hotel, then visit Mysore Palace, a historical palace in the city of Mysore in Karnataka, southern India. It is the official residence and seat of the Wodeyars- the royal family of Mysore, who ruled the princely state from 1399 to 1950. Then visit Jaganmohan Palace, Its construction was completed in 1861 and was initially used by the Wodeyars as their home. A few other attractions of the city are Folk Lore Museum Mysore, Jayalakshmi Vilas, Mysore Zoo, Chamunda Hills from where you will get a beautiful view of Mysore City. Have dinner and rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 03: Mysore – Ooty
After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Ooty. Check in to the hotel after reaching your destination. Relax in the evening. Have dinner and rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 04: Ooty
After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour of Ooty. Visit St. Stephen’s Church, Botanical Garden, Rose Garden – home to over 2,000 varieties of roses, Doddabetta peak, here you will get a beautiful view of the city, Tea Gardens etc. Explore local markets. Have dinner and rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 05: Ooty – Kodaikanal
After breakfast check out of your Ooty hotel and travel to Kodaikanal. Kodaikanal -a hill town in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s set in an area of granite cliffs, forested valleys, lakes, waterfalls and grassy hills. At 2,000 meters above sea level, the town centers around man-made, star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake, bordered by evergreen forest. Rowing boats can be hired, and hikers and cyclists follow the 5k Lake Road path around the shore. On the way visit, the Palani Temples. Once you reach Kodaikanal, check-in to your hotel. In the evening you’re free to relax at your hotel. Have dinner and rest for the night.
Day 06: Kodaikanal
On day six of your 6 Nights 7 Days Heart of South India, Post breakfast proceed to explore the beauty of Kodaikanal hill. Visit Kodaikanal Lake, also known as Kodai Lake- it is a man-made lake located in the Kodaikanal city. Then visit upper Lake view point, Pillar Rocks Viewpoint, Cocker’s Walk, Bear Shola Falls etc. In the evening you’re free to relax at the hotel. Enjoy the surrounding beauty of the place. Day 07: Kodaikanal – Coimbatore (depart)
