Day 01: Guwahati – Shillong
Delight India holiday welcome you at 4 Nights 5 Days Shillong-Cherrapunjee tour. After arriving at the Guwahati International airport you will be received by our representative, who will escort you to Shillong, also known as ‘The Scotland of the east’. Shillong is a hill station in northeast India and the capital of the state of Meghalaya. It’s known for the manicured gardens at Lady Hydari Park. Nearby, Ward’s Lake is surrounded by walking trails. In the Northern part of the state, you can visit the Don Bosco Centre- It displays Indigenous Cultures features displays on the region’s native people. Waterfalls include the Elephant Falls to the southwest. East of here, forested Shillong Peak offers city views. After arriving, check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day you’re free to relax or explore the territory on your own. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Shillong – Sightseeing
This day we embark on a local tour of Shillong. You will get to visit Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Spread Eagle Falls or Sati Falls, Botanical Garden, State Museum. Return to your hotel. Post lunch we visit Barapani Lake. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong
Make an excursion to Cherrapunjee ‘The Wettest Place on Earth’, visit Limestone Cave, Waterfalls – Waterfalls – Nohsngithiang Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkailikai Falls (world’s fourth highest) and on your way back visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak. In the evening you can relax or you can visit the Police Bazaar. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Shillong – Guwahati
After breakfast travel to Guwahati. Check-in to your hotel after reaching Guwahati. Post lunch we visit Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary. In the evening you will go for Brahmaputra River Cruise. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 05: Guwahati – Airport
In the morning visit Kamakhya Temple. Return to your hotel and travel to the Airport for your onward journey.
