Day 01: Chennai Arrival
After arriving at the Chennai Airport you will be received by our representative, who will escort you to your hotel. Check in, take some rest and freshen up, then later visit Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Government Museum, DakshinaChitra and Marina Beach. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Chennai
After breakfast proceed for a local tour of the City. Chennai, on the Bay of Bengal in eastern India, is the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu. The city is home to Fort St. George, built in 1644 and now a museum showcasing the city’s roots as a British military garrison and East India Company’s trading outpost, when it was called Madras. Religious sites include Kapaleeshwarar Temple, adorned with carved and painted gods, and St. Mary’s, a 17th-century Anglican church. Visit Fort St. George, St. Mary’s Church, Kapaliswara Temple, Valluvar Kottam, Vivekanandar Illam and Sri Parthasarathy Temple. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Chennai – Pondichery
Post breakfast we will transfer you to Pondichery. Pondichery was a French colonial settlement in India until 1954, is now a Union Territory town bounded by the southeastern Tamil Nadu state. Its French legacy is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas and chic boutiques. After reaching Pondicherry, check in to your hotel. Relax at the Pondicherry Beach. Have dinner and stay for the night.
Day 04: Pondichery
Post breakfast you can visit Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Rock Beach, Sri Aurobindo Ashram. After that enjoy at the Pondicherry Beach. Have dinner and rest overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Pondichery-Chennai (Depart)
On the last day, after breakfast check out of the hotel. We will drop you at the Chennai airport to take your flight towards your journey ahead.
