Day 01 – Arrive Delhi

We at Delight India Leisure Holidays welcome you to your 11 Nights / 12 Days Golden Triangle with Srilanka tour. After your arrival at the Delhi airport, you will be welcomed by one of our representative, who will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. You must be tired so, after check in at the hotel take some rest and freshen up.

Later in the evening you can visit Red fort to enjoy the Light and sound show. The Red fort was the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 02 – Delhi

On second day of your Golden Triangle with Srilanka tour, after breakfast proceed for the local sight seeing of the India’s capital territory, visit Qutab Minar the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb – tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, after lunch visit President House, India Gate, National Museum, Laxmi Narayan temple, Raj Ghat, Chandni chowk market. You can have your dinner in a famous restaurant of the city. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 03 – Delhi – Agra

Today after breakfast proceed to Agra – the city of marbles.

After arriving, check in at the Agra hotel. Freshen up and take some rest, after lunch visit the local market and buy some handicrafts for your family and friends. In the evening you will visit the Taj Mahal, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz, that is why it is known as a symbol of love. Visiting the beautiful monument at Sunset gives you a unique experience, the beautiful monument looks even more gratifying at Sunset. Have your dinner in a famous Mughal restaurant of the city and then go back to your hotel for the night.

Day 04 – Agra – Jaipur

On the fourth day of your Golden Triangle with Srilanka & Maldives tour, after breakfast you will proceed to explore the 16th century Agra Fort also known as the “Lal – Qila”, house to a number of exquisite buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Agra fort, Shah Jahan spent his last days imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. After Agra Fort you will visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, people also refer it as Baby Taj Mahal because it is has Minars(towers) similar to that of the Taj Mahal. Then proceed to Jaipur – the Pink city, en-route you will visit Fatehpur sikiri – a city founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. At arrival check in at the Jaipur hotel. In the evening you can explore local markets. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 05 – Jaipur

Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and in 1727, founded what is now called the Old city, or “Pink city” for its trademark building color. After breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride and then visit Jaigarh fort. After lunch explore other attractions of the city, like the famous City Palace – a palace complex in Jaipur, visit Albert hall & Museum, Hawa Mahal – a palace in Jaipur, India, named so because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside. Visit Jantar Mantar and Jal Mahal in the evening . After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 06 – Jaipur – Colomco – Kandy

On sixth day of your 15 Nights/ 16 Days Golden Triangle with Srilanka & Maldives tour, after breakfast check out of the hotel and catch your flight to Srilanka. After arriving at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) head to the mountain capital of Sri Lanka visiting the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (74km) on the way. See the elephants frolicking at the nearby river and orphaned baby elephants being bottle fed. Spend the evening within the mesmerizing interiors of Temple of the Tooth Relic followed by a concert showcasing traditional Sri Lankan music and dance. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 07 – Kandy

On the seventh day, after breakfast take a tour around the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, Sri Lanka’s arboretum of local and foreign plant species. Spend the evening in spiritual contemplation surrounded by the awe inspiring Kandyan architecture of the Temple of the Tooth Relic. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 08 – Udawatta Forest

On the eight day of your Golden Triangle with Srilanka & Maldives tour, after breakfast proceed to witness the morning glory of Udawatta Forest, the forest of Kings. The sanctuary is famous for its extensive avifauna. The forest is also of religious importance as there are three Buddhist meditation hermitages and three rock shelter dwellings for Buddhist monk hermits. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 09 – Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast check out of the hotel in Kandy and proceed to the Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka’s tea plantation hub, situated amidst an endless carpet of tea estates. Visit a tea factory to witness the production of world’s best tea. Spend the evening in Nuwara Eliya, the little England of Sri Lanka, passing the 18-hole golf course, the colonial member’s only Hill Club and English styled country homes. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 10 – Nuwara Eliya – Horton Plains

The tenth day of your 15 Nights/ 16 Days Golden Triangle with Srilanka & Maldives tour, after breakfast proceed to the Wildlife Sanctuary of Horton plains, where you can see sambar’s and red slender Loris’ in their natural habitat, hidden among the mist covered forests. Take a slow and steady hike which also features Baker’s waterfall. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 11 – Nuwara Eliya – Colombo

after breakfast visit the National Zoological Gardens in Dehiwala, where in-house elephants perform a dance daily for the pleasure of the visitors. Spend the evening at the Viharamahadevi Park in the midst of Colombo, a green sanctuary and an ideal end to a week spent in Nature Trails of Sri Lanka. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 12 – Colombo – Maldives

On the twelfth day of your Golden Triangle with Srilanka & Maldives tour, after breakfast check out of the hotel, our driver will drop you at BI airport to catch your flight for Maldives, after arriving in Maldives, check in to your hotel.

Day 13,14,15 – Maldives

You will have a multitude of activities to enjoy when you’re in Maldives. You can have a private picnic on the sand bank, you can go for snorkelling and diving or an underwater spa date. You can also experience the culture in Maldives while you’re there (all these activities are not included in our package. Hence, you’ll have to pay for them). Your hotel will provide you with all three meals. You can enjoy the party culture of Maldives and rest for the night in your hotel room.

Day 16 – Maldives – Depart

The last day of your 15 Nights/ 16 Days Golden Triangle with Srilanka & Maldives tour, after breakfast check out of the hotel and catch your flight towards your further destination.
