Day 01 – Arrive Delhi

We at Delight India Holiday welcome you to your 14 Nights/ 15 Days Glimpses of India & Nepal tour. After you arrive at the Delhi Airport arrival meet our representative, who will escort you to the pre booked hotel. You must be tired, after check in at the hotel take some rest and freshen up. Then visit President House, India Gate, National Museum, Laxmi Narayan temple, Raj Ghat, Chandni chowk market. Later in the evening you can visit Red fort to enjoy the Light and sound show. Red fort was the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. After dinner stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 – Delhi – Jaipur

On the second day of your tour after breakfast visit Qutab Minar the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb – tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun, in Delhi. After lunch proceed to Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and in 1727, founded what is now called the Old city, or “Pink city” for its trademark building colour. Check in to the hotel after reaching Jaipur. You can have your dinner in a famous restaurant of the city. After dinner stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 – Jaipur

On  the Third day of your Glimpses of India & Nepal tour, after breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride and then visit Jaigarh fort. After lunch explore other attractions of the city, like the famous City Palace – a palace complex in Jaipur, visit Albert hall & Museum, Hawa Mahal – a palace in Jaipur, India, named so because it was essentially a high screen wall built so that the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside. Visit Jantar Mantar and in the evening visit Jal Mahal. Have dinner and rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 04 – Jaipur – Agra

After breakfast proceed to Agra – the city of marbles . En route you will visit Fatehpur sikiri – a city founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. After arriving in Agra you will check in to the hotel. In the evening, you will visit the Taj Mahal, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz, that is why it is known as a symbol of love. Visiting the beautiful monument at Sunset gives you a unique experience, the beautiful monument looks even more gratifying at Sunset. Then later on you can visit the local market and buy some handicrafts for your family and friends. Have your dinner in a famous Mughal restaurant of the city. After dinner stay overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05 – Agra

Visit the beautiful Taj Mahal at Sunrise to experience the stunning sunrise view of the monument. There you can spend an hour taking photographs and relaxing in the lush green gardens of the Taj Mahal. After breakfast you will proceed to explore the 16th century Agra Fort also known as the “Lal – Qila”, house to a number of exquisite buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Agra fort, Shah Jahan spent his last days imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. After Agra Fort you will visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, people also refer it as Baby Taj Mahal because it has Minars(towers) similar to that of the Taj Mahal. In the evening visit local markets and buy some handicrafts for your family and friends. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 – Agra – Orcha – Khajuraho

Post breakfast check out of the hotel in Agra. You will transferred to Agra railway station to board your train to Jhansi. After arriving at the Jhansi railway station meet our representative who will take you to Khajuraho, on the way visit Orcha temple, Forts & Mahals proceed to Khajuraho. After arriving in Khajuraho check in to the hotel. Rest for the night after dinner.

Day 07 – Khajuraho – Varanasi

On day seven, after breakfast visit Khajuraho city sightseeing. Khajuraho is the famous pilgrimage place of Hindu community where temples are constructed with artistic architecture. You can also participate in the Pooja ceremony that is practiced here in these temples. After lunch catch your flight to Varanasi, after arriving at the Varanasi airport our representative will transfer you to your hotel. You’re free to relax in the evening. Have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 08 – Varanasi

Varanasi is a Holy city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh dating to the 11th century B.C. In the morning proceed for boat ride at river Ganga. After Breakfast visit Tuli Manas Temple, Durga devi temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Vanaras Hindu University, after lunch excursion to Sarnath – the very place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Must-see places in Sarnath are the Dhamekha stupa, Buddhist temples, the archaeological museum. Evening visit Ganga ghat to attend the Aarti ceremony. Stay overnight at the hotel after dinner.

Day 09 – Varanasi– Kathmandu

On the ninth day of your 14 Nights/ 15 Days Glimpses of India & Nepal tour, after breakfast check out of the hotel, we will drop you at the Varanasi airport to catch your flight to Kathmandu. After arriving at the Kathmandu airport meet our representative, who will escort you to your hotel. Rest for the night after dinner.

Day 10 – Kathmandu

After breakfast in the morning proceed to explore the colourful Durbar Square and Baudhnath -home to the largest Stupas in the world. In the afternoon, take a road trip to Patan and Bhadgaon. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 11 – Kathmandu – Pokhara

On the eleventh day of your 14 Nights/ 15 Days Glimpses of India & Nepal tour, after breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Pokhara. Pokhara is a sub-metropolitan and the second largest city of Nepal. After arriving check in to the hotel. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 12 – Pokhara

After breakfast proceed to explore the beauty of  Pokhora, places of interest include Seti River gorge which flows some ninety-one meter below ground level, Davis Falls (called Patle Chhango), where cascading water vanishes underground and Mahendra cave. Gupteswar Gupha, a sacred cave on the Siddhartha Highway leading southwest from the city. This cave holds special value for Lord Shiva as well as Mahendra Gupha known as Chamero Odhar (house of Bats) is the large limestone cave. Visit Bindabashini temple, this temple has religious activity in the old bazaar and dedicated to goddess Bhagawati manifestation of power. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 13 – Pokhara – Chitwan National Park

Drive to Sarangkot early in the morning for a sunrise view and then come back to your hotel. After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Chitwan National park. Chitwan National Park (CNP) is a world heritage property, and it also contains a Ramsar Site – Beeshazar Tal in its buffer zone. It is a rich wildlife area in Terai, the subtropical southern part of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile. After reaching the Chitwan National park check in to your hotel. After dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.

Day 14 – Chitwan – Kathmandu

In the morning enjoy the wildlife Safari in the national park. After lunch travel back to Kathmandu, after arriving in Kathmandu check in to the hotel. In the evening you’re free to explore the local market or you can rest at the hotel. Have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 15 – Kathmandu – Depart

On the last day of your 14 Nights/ 15 Days Glimpses of India & Nepal tour, after breakfast check out of the hotel, our driver we will drop you at the Kathmandu airport to catch your flight towards your next destination.
