Day 01: Cochin Arrival
We at Delight India Holiday welcome you to your 11 Nights 12 Days South India Costal & Hills tour. After arriving at the Cochin airport you will be WELCOMED by our representative, who will escort you to the pre booked hotel. After check in the hotel, get fresh and take rest at hotel. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.
Day 02: Cochin
After breakfast proceed for Cochin local sightseeing. Cochin is popularly known as the Queen of Arabian Sea, also boasts of one of the finest natural harbors in the world. Visit Mattancherry Palace also known as the Dutch Palace, Paradesi Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Net, St. Francis CSI Church in Fort Kochi, originally built in 1503, is the oldest European church in India and has great historical significance as a mute witness to the European colonial struggle in the subcontinent, then visit Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica at Fort Kochi, and Hill Palace- the largest archaeological museum in Kerala, it was the official residence of Cochin Maharaja. Later visit Marine drive. Then back to the hotel to rest for the night.
Day 03: Cochin – Munnar
Post breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Munnar. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it’s surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak. After reaching your destination check in to your pre booked hotel. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.
Day 03: Munnar
After breakfast proceed to explore the locals sight in and around of the beautiful hill station. You will get to visit Mattupatty Dam, Echo Point, also visit Tata Tea Plantation, Munnar Tea Museum and then visit Ervikulam National Park, a 97 km² national park located in the beautiful hill along the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala in India, in the evening go back to your hotel. Have your dinner and rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 04: Munnar – Thekkady
TAfter breakfast check-out and proceed to Thekkady. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is the prime attraction of Thekkady where you will get to see Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar Deer, Wild Bison, Wild Bear etc. After arriving check in to your hotel. Then travel the Wildlife Sanctuary on a boat. In the evening, visit the local markets of Thekkady. Later, enjoy dinner and stay for the night at your hotel.
Day 05: Thekkady- Alleppey
Post breakfast check out your Thekkady hotel and proceed to Alleppey also known as Alappuzha, a city on the Laccadive Sea in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It’s best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons. After arriving check in to your pre-booked Houseboat. Freshen up and have your lunch. Spend rest of the day enjoying the beautiful natural view of lagoons while relaxing on your houseboat. Have your dinner on the boat and rest for the night.
Day 06: Alleppey-Kovalam
After breakfast at Houseboat check out the boat and proceed to Kovalam. Kovalam is a coastal town in the southern Indian state of Kerala, its beaches have been a tourist attraction for many years. Kovalam is a place rich with Ayurveda, Yoga, meditation, culture, history, ethnic people, music and good food – a tourist’s paradise. Goa is divided into two parts, North Goa and South Goa.
