Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
We at Delight India Leisure Holidays welcome you to the Royal India & Nepal Tour. After arriving at the Delhi International Airport, You will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your pre-booked hotel. You must be tired so, after check-in at the hotel get fresh and take some rest. Later in the evening, you can visit Red Fort to enjoy the Light and sound show, the Red Fort was the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. After dinner overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 – Delhi
On the second day of your tour after breakfast proceed for the local sightseeing of India’s capital territory, visit Qutab Minar the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb – the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi. After lunch, visit President House, India Gate, National Museum, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Raj Ghat, Chandni Chowk market. You can have your dinner in a famous restaurant in the city. After dinner overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 – Delhi – Agra
Today after breakfast proceed to Agra – the city of marbles. Enroute you will visit the famous Tomb of Emperor Akbar at Sikandra.
At arrival, check-in at the Agra hotel. Freshen up and take some rest. After lunch, visit the local market and buy some handicrafts for your family and friends. In the evening you will visit the world-famous Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaj, that is why it is known as a symbol of love. Day 04 – Agra – Jaipur
On day fourth, after breakfast, you will proceed to explore the 16th century Agra Fort also known as the “Lal – Qila”, houses several exquisite buildings and is recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. In Agra fort, Shah Jahan spent his last days imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. After Agra Fort you will visit the tomb of Itimad-Ud-Daulah, it is also an architectural marvel. People also refer to it as Baby Taj Mahal because it is similar to Minars (towers) similar to that of the Taj Mahal. Then proceed to Jaipur – the Pink city, en-route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri – a city founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. At arrival check-in at the Jaipur hotel. In the evening you can explore local markets. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 – Jaipur
Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or “Pink City” for its trademark building colour. After breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride and then visit Jaigarh Fort. Take a stop at Jal Mahal. After lunch explore other attractions of the city, like the famous city Palace – a palace complex in Jaipur, visit Albert hall & Museum, Hawa Mahal – a palace in Jaipur, India, so named because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside, Jantar Mantar. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.
Day 06 – Jaipur -Kathmandu
On the sixth day of your 11 Nights/ 12 Days Royal India & Nepal tour, after breakfast check-out from the hotel, we will drop you at Jaipur airport to catch your flight to Kathmandu. After arriving at Kathmandu airport you will meet our representative, who will transfer you to the hotel. Stay overnight after dinner.
Day 07 – Kathmandu
After breakfast, proceed to explore the colourful Durbar Square and Boudhanath-home to the largest Stupas in the world. In the afternoon, take a road trip to Patan and Bhadgaon. Have your dinner and night stay at the hotel.
Day 08 – Kathmandu – Pokhara
On the eighth day of your Royal India with Nepal tour, after breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Pokhara. Pokhara is a sub-metropolitan and the second largest city of Nepal. At arrival check in to the hotel. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 09 – Pokhara
After breakfast, proceed to explore the beauty of Pokhara, places of interest are like Seti River gorge which follows some ninety-one meter below ground level, Davis Falls (called Patale Chango), where cascading water vanishes underground and Mahendra cave. Gupteswar Gupha, a sacred cave on the Siddhartha Highway leading southwest from the city. This cave holds special value for Lord Shiva as well as Mahendra Gupha, known as Chamero Odhar (house of Bats) is the large limestone cave. Visit Bindabashini temple, this temple has religious activity in the old bazaar and dedicated to goddess Bhagawati manifestation of power. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 10 – Pokhara – Chitwan National Park
Today Morning drive to Sarangkot for sunrise view and come back to the hotel. After breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed to Chitwan National park. The Chitwan National Park (CNP) is a world heritage property, and it also contains a Ramsar Site – Beeshazari Tal in its buffer zone. It is a rich natural area in the Terai, the subtropical southern part of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile. After arriving at the Chitwan National park check in to the hotel. Have dinner and night stay.
Day 11 – Chitwan-Kathmandu
