Day 01 – Arrival at Delhi
We at Delight India Leisure Holidays welcome you to your 11 Nights 12 Days Rajasthan with Taj & Khajurao tour. After you arrive at the Delhi airport you will be Welcomed by our representative, who will escort you to your pre-booked hotel. You must be tired so, after check in at the hotel take some rest and freshen up. Visit a few major attractions of the Capital of India, like Qutub Minar- one of the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, also visit Humayun’s tomb, Lotus Temple , India Gate, Parliament house. Later in the evening you can visit Red fort to enjoy the Light and sound show, the Red fort was the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. After dinner overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02, Delhi – Udaipur / flight
On the second day of your tour, after breakfast leave for Udaipur- the city of lakes. Udaipur is famous for stunning lakes, museums, castles and monuments. The lake city is the former capital of Mewar Kingdom in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559 . After arriving in Udaipur, check-in at the hotel.
In the evening you’re free to relax at the hotel or you can go explore the city on your own. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03, Udaipur:
Post breakfast proceed for the Udaipur city tour. The first place you will visit in the morning will be Saheliyon ki Baari. After that we will take you to Jagdish Temple and then you will move to City Palace complex. Another famous place you will visit is Mor Chowk. Apart from these another famous place in the city you will visit Fateh Sagar Lake. If you are an art lover then you must visit Folk Art Museum. Witness the breath-taking sunset in ‘Pichola’ and enjoy the beauty of nature, also you will visit the local city markets and have your dinner in a famous restaurant of the city. Day 04 – Udaipur – Chittorgarh – Bundi
On the third day, after breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Chittorgarh, visit Chittorgarh fort & Museum, Kumbha Palace, Vijay Stambha, Meera temple and continue drive to Bundi- the lake city, former capital of the Mewar Kingdom. Chittorgarh is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559. After arriving in Udaipur, check in to the hotel. Day 05 – Bundi
After breakfast proceed to Bundi, it is a city with 104,457 inhabitants in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan state in northwest India. It is of particular architectural note for its ornate forts, palaces, and Stepwell reservoirs known as baoris. After arriving check in to the hotel. Then visit Garh Palace, Taragarh fort, Raniji ki Baori, Sukh Mahal . Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06- Bundi – Jaipur:
After breakfast spend some time relaxing, then check out of the hotel and proceed to Jaipur – the Pink city. Known for royalty and great tradition, Jaipur is the capital of the Rajasthan state of India. Upon arrival, check-in at the pre-booked hotel.
After arriving in Jaipur check in to the hotel. You’re free to relax in the evening. Have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 07- Jaipur:
On day seven, you will explore the local sightseeing of Jaipur city. After breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride and then visit Jaigarh fort.
After lunch visit attractions including Hawa Mahal (a palace in Jaipur, India, named so because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside), then visit Jantar Mantar, City Palace – a palace complex in Jaipur, Albert Hall & Museum and in the evening you can explore the local handicrafts markets. After a hearty dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 – Jaipur – Agra
After breakfast proceed to Agra -the city of marbles . En route you will visit Fatehpur sikiri – a city founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. After arriving, check in at the Agra hotel. Freshen up and take some rest. In the evening you will visit the Taj Mahal, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz, that is why it is known as a symbol of love. Visiting the beautiful monument at Sunset gives you a unique experience, the beautiful monument looks even more gratifying at Sunset. Day 09 – Agra
Travel to Taj Mahal in the morning to experience the stunning view of the Monument at sunrise. There you can spend an hour taking photographs and relaxing in the lush green gardens of Taj Mahal. After breakfast you will proceed to explore visit the 16th century Agra Fort also known as “Lal – Qila”, house to a number of exquisite buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Agra fort, Shah Jahan spent his last days imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. After Agra Fort you will visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, it is also an architectural marvel. People also refer it as Baby Taj Mahal because it has Minars(towers) similar to that of Taj Mahal. In the evening visit local markets and buy some handicraft for you family and friends. Day 10 – Agra – Orcha – Khajuraho
On day tenth of your 11 Nights 12 Days Rajasthan with Taj & Khajurao tour, check out the hotel. You will escorted to the Agra railway station to board your train to Jhansi. After arriving in Jhansi railway station meet our representative who will take you to Khajuraho, on the way visit Orcha temple, Forts & Mahals proceed to Khajuraho. After arriving in Khajuraho check in to the hotel. Stay overnight after dinner.
Day 11 – Khajuraho – Delhi
After breakfast visit Khajuraho city sight seeing. Khajuraho is the famous pilgrimage place of Hindu community where temples are having some great artistic architecture. You can also participate in the Pooja ceremony that is practiced here in these temples. After lunch driven back to the Jhansi railway station, catch your train to Delhi, after arriving in Delhi we will escort you to your hotel. Have dinner and night stay.
Day 12 – Delhi – Depart
