Day 1: Arrive at Leh:
After arriving at the Leh Airport you will be received by our representative, who will escort you to your pre booked hotel. After check in at the hotel freshen up and have tea/coffee. Relax in the Evening. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Leh local sightseeing:
After breakfast proceed for a tour of Leh, where you will visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery & Stok Palace Museum. Rest overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Leh-Lamayuru-Uleytoko
In the morning drive down to the Indus valley on a tour of the Lamayuru (approx. 130 kms.) circuit, famous for the dramatically located ancient Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining ‘Moonland’ features. After sightseeing and lunch here, retrace the Leh route till Uleytokpo (60 kms.) and check-in at a fixed camp/ resort for overnight stay.
Day 4: Uleytoko-Leh
After breakfast drive towards Leh, en route visit the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed heritage site. Thereafter, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.
Day 5: Leh –Nubra Valley
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for a tour of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit for overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 6: Nubra Valley -Leh
In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.
Day 7: Leh-Pangong Lake-Leh
Make a full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), en route crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Leh
Free day for rest after the long journey to Pangong Lake. In the afternoon visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace & the local market. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 9:Leh-Tsomoriri / Korzok (15070 ft. / 220 kms.)
Early departure for Tsomo-riri Lake (alt: 15,000 ft.) driving through Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and Puga Sumdo. Tsomoriri Lake (28 km long & about 8 km wide) is the breeding ground of many migratory birds including the rare bar-headed geese. Have dinner & stay overnight in a fixed camp or a Guest House.
Day 10:Tsomoriri-Tsokar-Taglangla-Leh (17582 ft.)-Leh-approx 200 kms):
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en-route. Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Drop to Leh Airport
On the last day of your tour, after breakfast at the hotel we will escort you to the Leh airport to board a flight towards your next destination.
